The limited progress is likely due to ongoing Ukrainian offensive operations and defensive counterattacks in the area, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Hoping this assessment is on the nose, some of the reports two days ago were really concerning.

Institute for the Study of War commented that a lot of the advance was in areas with presence but not active control by Ukraine.

Yeah I saw that too. I had heard a report that some drone teams were overwhelmed which made me worry that the Russian assault penetrated defensive lines but now I’m not so sure. Either way, I’m glad Ukraine got the go ahead to use American munitions in Russia

I heard about the HIMARS, but does this extend to all American munitions?
