I was talking with another one of my transrace friends today and she is in her early stages of taking melanin. She’s working on writing down all of the information she can about this process and she has talked a lot with me about it so eventually we can share this information with the world so other transrace people wanting to get darker can know what to expect.

She told me today she talked with a guy who’s done melanin injections since like 2012 that he became black from it and get this: people didn’t treat him that bad, and omg that makes me so happy. She told me people were surprised by it but that’s the main reaction he got. This makes me really hopeful that acceptance is closer than we think, and that maybe myself and others can safely transition sooner! That just makes me so happy and hopeful for the future. I’m sure there will be challenges, but it seems that maybe we will be safe. Though if you do start to change race, be careful 💕 just in case, because you are loved. :3

we didn't know this was possible, we aren't transrace black but like are transmelanin and would like this, but doubt we could ever afford it. we might not even be able to afford hrt again.
