How about we tax churches 50% on their income and property and then use that money to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and take care of the sick?

But it won’t ever be allowed to happen - doesn’t that make it a crazy idea?
Well, multiple books in the Bible say that intelligence and knowledge are gifts from God, so at least Christians should be doing it for free already.
Apparently that's what the Jesuits are there for, at least within Catholicism.
That’s a good idea. Additionally, 5% of the budget should be for psychedelic drugs and to rent space for scientists to do psychedelic drugs in rooms full of whiteboards, legos, and drums.
