I've never eaten one before this. I have a feeling it wasn't perfect but I thought it pretty good.

Looks like it could have baked just a little bit longer, but it still looks good. I'm gonna have to go make one now too.

I like them with a spritz of lemon juice and powdered sugar. A little lemon zest in the batter is nice too.

An American made German pancakes. His daughter couldn't pronounce Deutsch. She would apparently say Dutch. Now we have Dutch Babies.

I don't know if it's true but that's the story.

its supposed to be german?

it doesn't look like german pancakes either,
those are more like a middleground between creppe and american pancakes.

it kinda reminds me of kaiserschmarrn if you don't Scramble it,
but thats an Austrian recipe.
