Has anyone here ever purchased anything from Mouser ? I tried to buy a Sifive Unmatched from there and a day later the order was cancelled by their Customer Accounts Team "after further review". I will be calling them for more info but it just struck me as one of the weirdest experiences I have had with an online store.

Here and there for nearly 30 years. They're my go-to for specific electronic components that I can trust not to be fakes. And when I was a poor college kid they were extremely generous with free product samples. Sometimes their shipping times suck, but that's really the only bad thing I have to say about them.

They are a gigantic company tho; This is probably an inventory screwup. Or some products are restricted where they can ship.

I sometimes ordered from them in the last 8 years. No problems. Expensive but guaranteed valid parts. Your experience could be many things. Maybe there is a invalid permission to export this certain item to your region of purchase. I ran into that once with some serious part that also had military uses.

They're legit. I've bought plenty of capacitors and passives for vintage-audio rebuilds, 74xx logic, SRAMs.

They can definitely scale to huge commercial-scale orders, but they're very accomodating of my hobbyist "I only need 1 or 2, unless buying 10 or 100 is cheaper".

I've bought from them plenty of times when Digi-Key didn't have in stock what I wanted, or when they do fulfillment for certain partners. As another commenter mentioned, it's likely that the devil is in the details - what were you ordering, how much, and to where?

Yep, never any issues

Mouser is indeed one of the most reputable dealers around. That really sounds like it would be worth asking about.

I bought a SiFive... Something from them. No drama. Took a while, but Canada. Canada Customs likes to put things in a pile for a few weeks for reasons I haven't figured out yet.
