I just want my gmail signature to match betweem desktop and mobile app. (lemmy.world)

Can someone please tell me why the gmail android app does not allow for this? Is there some system condition that disables this feature. It is surely related to android becuase iOS has signature matching.

Google owns every step of this.

It's just Google being Google.

You'll need to use an alternative IMAP client on your phone for this.

Edit: to clarify, you can certainly set a signature in the Gmail app, but it won't have any formatting options.
