Yes! I stopped caring about the edited mark. Why should everything be perfect at the first post? I edit for grammar all the time, fix my phrasing, edit for better flow, add things I forgot to mention, etc.

One thing I wish Lemmy had is ninja edits, where editing a comment within maybe 30 seconds will not show the edited mark.
Yeah I'm on Tildes and it does this! You get a 5 minute or so grace period. Nice quality of life feature.
