We plan to release Factorio: Space Age expansion on October 21st 2024. The reasoning for this date is that it will give us enough time after summer vacations to polish the release, while also leaving enough time afterwards if we need to do bugfix patches before the Christmas holidays.

The price of the Space age expansion will be $35.00, the same price as the current base game.

Welp, there goes another couple thousand hours of my life.

Setting the release schedule around vacations and holidays. Sounds like the devs have a respectable work / life balance.

Well they are from Europe and probably have some actual protections in place.

Everything I've heard coming out of this studio is great.

Can't wait to unlock elevated rails so I can make even more convoluted railway hubs

I just happy I can finally make things like the Diverging Diamond interchange and the Cloverleaf interchange. Sure, you could do them before, but without elevated track such interchanges went from A+ to highly inefficient.

Space Exploration was just too big for me. I tried twice and only got to the halfway point…I think.

Anyway, I gave up and am eagerly waiting for Space Age.
