How can they have a military tribunal for someone who was never in the military?

We're about to start the Treason Trials. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiberius

Yep he is telling us exactly how he will rule if he wins in November.

An official™ act.

It’s going to be alright everyone. The Biden campaign stated that Biden will not expand the courts. Why? Because when we go high they fuck us in the ass with a cactus.

The man is literally telling us what he’s going to do. Is the message not clear enough? Is it not loud enough? Is it not violent enough? How ingrained is American Exceptionalism exactly? What’s it going to take America?

The people who can stop this are sufficiently privileged that they don't feel they'll be affected by Trump, and/or they hate paying taxes more than theyre worried about fascism.

They're also oblivious to history, both recent (Nazi Germany and the Night of the long knives) and modern day (Putin's Russia, and the fate of oligarchs who crossed him)

What's it going to take?

I think you know the answer.

Get your guns, beans, and gasoline.

They want to hurt us. It's the common denominator for many.

The other stuff is noise. Porn stars, confidential papers, fraud, none of that matters. Because it doesn't matter.

It's the backlash. We weather it or we don't.

Where's Dick Cheney to take this asshole hunting when you need him?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

Feasting on the hearts of infants in his retirement compound, no doubt.

Underappreciated comment right here.

So, not so quiet, then. Roberts? You own this.

Oh man. Trump plans on going full dictator if given the chance.

A military tribunal or commission is most usually used to refer to a court that asserts jurisdiction over persons who are members of an enemy army, are held in military custody, and are accused of a violation of the laws of war…. Military tribunals also, generally speaking, do not assert jurisdiction over people who are acknowledged to be civilians who are alleged to have broken civil or criminal laws. However, military tribunals are sometimes used to try individuals not affiliated with a particular state's military who are nonetheless accused of being combatants and acting in violation of the laws of war. I wonder if, at some point, the old guard is gonna call in some favors and get the orange traitor whacked. Dick Cheney, if he is still sentient, probably isn’t thrilled.

She supported him until she thought it was inconvenient. Assholes killing assholes

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Cheney responded on X, “Donald - This is the type of thing that demonstrates yet again that you are not a stable adult—and are not fit for office.”

A separate post Trump amplified on Truth Social Sunday includes photos of 15 former and current elected officials and says, “THEY SHOULD BE GOING TO JAIL ON MONDAY NOT STEVE BANNON!”

In addition to Biden and Harris, the post includes photos of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Vice President Mike Pence and members of the House select committee that investigated the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

Trump, who has been convicted of 34 felony counts and faces an additional 54 charges in three other cases, has long suggested he would try to prosecute his political opponents if he’s elected to a second term.

His suggestions of potentially going after political opponents by weaponizing the Justice Department began more than a year ago, when he was first indicted.

Trump has said he would appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Biden and his family if he wins a second term and has argued several times he believes he is justified in doing so because Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to oversee criminal investigations that implicate Trump.

The original article contains 317 words, the summary contains 216 words. Saved 32%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

While I hate what this means in general; be honest, is anyone going to miss Liz Cheney?
