Welcome to Food Crimes! This community is here to collect all and any post about cursed food and generally unusual consumables.

Right now, here’s the rules:

  1. Posts must include an image or video containing food or drink.
  2. It must be unusual or cursed in some way. a. For example, something like Doritos Milk would be unusual, but normal milk would not.
  3. No AI posts whatsoever, and any images that were altered (Ex: Photoshop, Gimp) need to be tagged.

How to tag: To tag your posts, please prepend or append the tag name inside square brackets. For example,[OC] Foo bar baz or foo bar baz [Meta] would be acceptable. Multiple tags will require separate pairs of brackets, like so: [Edited][OC] foo bar baz

Here are the current tags:

this section of walmart canned goods need a warning label: due to dirty sock aroma, tabasco is recommended. eat at your own risk! gag reflex triggering. #OC

Tanjin shown was insufficient. tabasco or habanero turns frown upside-down.

Brazillian sauce was also sub-par for making this stuff edible.

I mean, they aren't the worst canned collards. Which isn't saying much. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say they're the best canned collards, which still isn't saying much.

Collards just don't can well. You can't even home can them and expect anything worth a damn. Most greens are like that tbh. It's one of those things where you're better off just not having them if you can't get them fresh. I think the only green I've found tolerable canned is spinach, and that still took a shit ton of vinegar to tolerate.

For real, fresh collards are the food of the gods. Braised with a little apple cider vinegar, a bit of bacon grease, and your choice of stock. Takes a couple of hours to get exactly right, but if you want more chew, you can go less time. More if your want the texture closer to canned.

cheap homemade Snappy-Tom for clearing sinuses. keep paper towels handy, Kleenex won't be sufficient to contain nasal flow and tears. 1 cup vegetable/tomato juice, 1 tblspn tabasco

Drink half allowing time for tabasco to penetrate brain and eye sockets. drink other half once crying stops. what head-cold? [OC]
