I think I've only heard of drivers getting out of damages in 🇳🇱 after dashcam footage or witness testimony. The law generally sides with cyclists in these cases.

My wife came within inches of being hit by an SUV on Clarizz this week as well. She was coming home with a load of groceries. The driver saw her but was in a hurry and risked my wife’s life with a dangerous pass. She wasn’t able to get the plate number… but came close because the hurried driver soon had to stop for a turn anyway.
