I felt like we could use a new version of this post as we are moving toward a new season and I am going to be making some updates to the bot. So, the comments about formats in the previous version of this post would be out of date.

Note: there are no changes to this post formatting compared to the previous one yet, but I am actively working on it.

@[email protected] I have updated the sorting for this post. I mirrored the romaji name to the English name column if there was not a separate English name and then sorted by the English column. Let me know if you have any ideas for further improvements.

Additionally, I have added some functionality to the bot to be able to format a wiki page that provides the status for all the shows it is currently tracking. I have a prototype version of the page up here. ~~This isn't automated yet to update automatically, so it is just a snapshot in time.~~ Let me know if you have any ideas for improvement there as well.

edit: The page is now hooked into my automation scripting, so it should be updated in an ongoing manner.

The thread for My Deer Friend Nokotan was not created. Its start date on Anilist was July 3rd, which is almost over.

I have manually requested the thread from @[email protected]

Alright, so, this edge case popped up on a show last season too. Basically, AniList had the release date scheduled for Sunday (which is still the broadcast release date), then they later revised the release date to a point in the past. Because rikka is only looking forward in time for episodes, she missed the revision of the episode 1 release time, so she still is planning on making the thread on Sunday. I have worked a little on how to address this edge case, but decided to knock out the requestable and wiki modules of rikka first since keeping the wiki updated was taking much more of my time.

As for the show, I am unable to find it available yet (even on the high seas). I see on AniList that it is available on abema, a Japan-only streaming service a couple days prior to general release. They must have revised their release date from the broadcast date to the abema streaming date. So, I would prefer to keep the post scheduled for Sunday when it is generally available if that is when people are actually going to be actively watching it.

However, for episodes 2+, that means the post will get created a couple days early. So, either we live with early episode threads or I commit to making threads manually on the general release day (they should be requestable by anybody as well). I will think about the best way to handle this going forward.

There isn't a thread for Dahlia In Bloom so I'll post here how much I HATE the voice of Volfred. He's supposed to be the super strong and tough soldier that stands at the vanguard of a monster hunter division that laughs death in the face. And then they somehow decided to go with a breathy shota twink voice for him. I hope they haven't ruined the LN for me.
