Are you an artist offering commissions? Feel free to advertise yourself here! You may also use this community to advertise your Patreon, Subscribestar or similar page.

For sellers:

NSFW and SFW commission ads allowed
Make sure to flag your post as NSFW if it contains such content. There's no need to flag the post just because it mentions that you offer such a type of commission
Please add at least one picture as reference if your form of art is visual. Remember that you can add images in the body of your post as well!
Feel free to add contact details and any other info you feel is relevant
Make sure to let your potential customers know how they should contact you: via comment? email? Private message? Mastodon?
Please don't offer commissions of underage characters in a NSFW context

For buyers:

Please try to verify the identity of the seller by looking up other pages or social media profiles. Yiffit will do its best to avoid scams but is not responsible for any potential scams or disputes that might slip through.

If you're an artist you can advertise here in three different ways:

Using a yiffit.net account
Using any other Lemmy account and searching for [email protected] on your instance's search page.
Via Mastodon or similar fediverse platform by mentioning the user @[email protected]. The first line of the toot will be the title and the next paragraph the body of the post.

Please don't forget to read the rules in the sidebar, but they're fairly standard.

This might be a dumb question, but is this community only for furry commissions and the sort? :o If so, could you possibly point me to a more general art commission community? I'm still new to using the whole lemmy site and stuff, and I realized this is under yiffit. I just dont want to accidentally post in the wrong place! I feel so lost still hahaha and I wanna double check

Hey! Well, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Since it is a Yiffit community, most people who'll see the post will be furries and it makes sense for it to be somehow related to furries or maybe even wildlife portraits.

I don't know about any other communities that allow you to advertise but you can search over at lemmyverse.net/communities

Thanks for the link and for the answer :) Appreciate it! I actually do a lot of animal / wildlife stuff (big fan of creatures and the sort) so I might actually make a post here too, just to try it out! Thank you again :3
