Don't forget Sandra America's Sweetheart was on that bus too.
If you want an in depth oral history about this film, I highly recommend the 50mph podcast. It just finished this week after fifty episodes. The host Kris has interviewed almost everyone who worked on this film and I found it fascinating, it's right up my street.
For example, it was once pitched as a Beverly Hills Cop sequel. Also, director Jan de Bont is adamant that they filmed the infamous bus jump stunt twice. Problem is, he's the only one who thinks this, everyone else disagrees.
Thanks!
