When it really comes down to it, the only complaint I have for J.B. is that during some playoff games, he let the opposing team go on runs without taking a timeout to get our guys in line. Some of his line-ups were questionable, but I'm not there listening to the guys, so I can't really make a judgement call on whether or not other line-ups may have been available. Perhaps the guy I wish was in, was gassed, and that's why when we're down 20 we look for Sam Merrill to give us a spark. I dunno.
But what I DID like about him, was the defensive intensity he brought to the team. Okoro and Mobley have made real strides in their game while J.B. was here.
Whoever the next coach is, I just hope they can maneuver us right back into this same position. Because with the talent and youth this team has, we should be fighting for, if not in, the Eastern Conference finals next year.
