Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it sounds like fast track p2w. You can pay to have an advantage while f2p players grind out the same power which is absolutely garbage game design. Even without new content, the playing field will never be even but it's a safe bet that new p2w content will drop with some regularity making the problem even worse.

What exactly were you expecting from Ubisoft?
You're right but it's good to still call it out I think.
No thanks, I quit playing DMZ when they started talking about adding p2w shit so that you'd have an edge right at the match start. Any game that does stuff like that is a non-starter. At least ubisoft was dumb enough to tell us up front.
They killed DMZ not long after the BS P2W skins, a real quality company.
I was just thinking about the fun I had in the old spy vs mercenary matches in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.
I doubt I'll ever see an online experience like that again.
There's a multiplayer game that is that exact game mode only. It's called Spectre, unfortunately it's early access with "mixed" reviews.
Ubisoft. Do they still make games? Like at what point can we just call them products
The game is fun enough and free. My only beef with CoD is I'm not paying them year after year for the same game. Will be nice to have a CoD style game to jump into when a CoD style fps seems fun.
