Several items I used were at least +1 and the I got a few duplicates to reforge at the blacksmith. It was a good time. It kinda makes me happy to imagine sad ghost going from defeated explorer to absolute unit who is rocking +6 plate and great axe and slaying demons. Plus it probably helped that I had healing darts.
