As it is now, after I say "OK Google, take me to (destination)", it will show the route to destination and shows an icon for you to press before navigation actually begins.

Is there a way to skip that icon pressing step?

I don't have android auto but I simply say to my phone

"Hey Google, navigate to dest"

And it starts.

Probably the wording makes a difference.

Today I tried using "navigate to..." and it started right away.
