I have white dots on my monitor, at first I thought it was a pixel issue, but they remain even after the monitor is turned off. I tried cleaning them with a little distilled water and eyeglass wipes, I can feel them scratching the dot, but I can't remove them in any way, and I'm afraid to press the screen too hard to avoid damaging it.
