I have had the Gigabye M28U for about a year and at some point, the screws from the bottom of the clamp that attached the clamp to the arm fell out. I have tried replacing the screws and re-attaching the clamp to the arm but when I mount the arm to the desk, the arm no longer flexes and moves at it should. It only flexes down about a foot, and then you can hear the screws start to give and the arm itself looks like it's about to pop open. I can take a video and post it along with this to show what I mean but was curious if anybody had any idea what could potentially be the issue. Not sure if it would be the screw size, something within the flexible base of the arm that went bad, etc. Also considering just buying a cheap arm replacement from Amazon (I don't see the Gigabyte arm sold separately) as this has been a pain in the ass for the last few months for me not being able to use the arm.
Thanks!
