I grow stuff (mostly peppers and tomatoes for a while now, but I’m adding squash to hand pollinate and strawberries this year) in deep water culture hydro, which involves a 5 gallon bucket of nutrient water and an air pump creating bubbles. Super basic setup geared toward “permanent” plants that keep producing indefinitely, or big plants like weed. Works well since complex and long-term don’t mix well for me. Way way back in the day on the forum I used to frequent, dwc setups were called bubble buckets.

And I like monkeys, I relate to them.

However doing a quick internet search shows that apparently there’s an anonymous recreational drug information page under the same name (among numerous other things) so that’s a bit awkward.. I’ve got nothing against drugs, but nothing to do with that site either.

I was joking and laughing it up with my friends at an outdoor bar in Texas where I stopped at the bar on my way in from the airport (grew up there but left after university cuz Texas is too right wing dystopia for me).

My original username was LinuxTux, then LnxTx, and now lnxtx (more neutral).

Back then (~2005) I was fascinated by Linux.

Abbreviation of my real name, and a Chinese slang

Line from a solid song by a local band i found when i was 16. Oddly enough, it never occured to me how much i liked it as a name until a decade later.

It's my first name and a single syllable of my last name. This is my standard user account that all my family and friends know, so if they want to find me online, they know what to look for.

I used to do private user accounts so I could post things that I didn't want people in my life to find, but then I realized I just didn't care to use them. I stay true to myself, even online. Anything I post is what I would happily share with anyone in my life anyway, so there's no reason for me to maintain multiple accounts anymore.

Also, I'm retired now, so it's not like I need to watch what I say online. I don't have to fear my boss finding less-than-professional social media content I've posted. My friends are all still working and they get really nervous about broadcasting our chats, like when I'm trying to stream our gaming sessions on Twitch. They sometimes vent about their work, and they're afraid of their employer finding it. (BTW, I don't record our game sessions.)

One friend in particular will ditch our game nights completely if I mention it's going to be livestreamed. I live halfway across the country from him and I don't even know his employer, but he's paranoid they'll somehow stumble across my Twitch stream and recognize his voice or something. I'm lucky if I get 2 viewers all night long, so I'm pretty sure he's safe.

Don't remember the "FuzzLord" part, but Ace comes from whenever a game asked for a 3 letter initial for scores or if I needed to enter a name for a save, I always chose Ace.

I presume the "Lord" part comes from me sometimes being an arrogant prick at times who thinks he's better than others when in reality I ain't much better than the next guy.

When I first played Mass Effect I thought it was silly that I could give Shepard a first name that would never be used, so I tried to come up with the absolute dumbest first name I could think of. Turns out BanjoShepard is available on practically every platform, so it became my internet persona.

Way back in the day when I was on another social media they banned my account and asked for identification because of my name at the time....so I made up a variation with this user name on a payslip in photoshop and they accepted it.
