At a loss for what the issue with my restaurant audio is.

Hey all. I have scoured the internet for a solution to my problem, but have come up completely dry.

I manage a restaurant and I’m having issues with multiple amps faulting.

We have 10 70v speakers throughout the restaurant. 2 sets of 5, daisy chained together. They have knobs that allow for 2.5 watts to 20 watts.

The first amp we used was a Rockville RCS180-6 180 watt. It worked great for a few weeks, both for music and our microphone setup. Then suddenly it started faulting in both of those situations.

So we ordered the step up, the RCS650-6 650 watt. Just installed it, and it worked perfectly. We had music going for a good half hour….. and then it faulted, just like the last one.

I have tried multiple wattage setups with the speakers and it still happens.

Any advice for a stressed out restaurant manager? 😅
