That's the "wizard" that installs all your software

[-] [email protected] 33 points 9 months ago

Lmao you finally helped me understand a meme I saw the other day saying “installation” is a valid school of magic

[-] [email protected] 16 points 9 months ago

It's also a subtle nod to a character in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion where a mages guild character states that "Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic"

[-] [email protected] 45 points 9 months ago

It's him. That's the installation wizard

Actually he was helping decommission that datacenter as the company was consolidating in another location. This was near the end of the decommission. My buddy worked as a datacenter tech under this guy with one other on the team and all 3 of them got pictures with this. This is the only one that went viral as far as I've seen though.

Amy Wong: He knows when you are sleeping,
Hubert J. Farnsworth: He knows when you're on the can,
Turanga Leela: He'll hunt you down and blast your ass from here to Pakistan.
John A. Zoidberg: Oh...
Hermes Conrad: You'd better not breathe, you'd better not move,
Bender Bending Rodriguez : You're better off dead, I'm telling you, dude.
Philip J. Fry: Santa Claus is gunning you down!

Dear user, you've attempted to use sudo yet your name isn't in the sudoers file. Curious.

It's rumored that he exited Vi with his first ever attempt.

Sitting atop the Wiring Throne designed by the most famous of IT administrators JZ Signalbringer who constructed it out of the unneeded CAT5 after bringing Enterprise level Wi-Fi to the facilities for the first time. He purposely made his throne uncomfortable before he wanted. It always remembered that IT administrators should never be at their desk.
