I loved the first episode. I appreciated how visceral it was. I am glad that I did not skip it.

It's anime like this that remind me of those three questions to ask when doing media criticism:

  1. What was the creator trying to do?
  2. Did they achieve it?
  3. Was it worth doing?

It seems clear to me this anime very vividly (#2) portrays the way that online clout culture trains people to be horrible to each other (#1), but I just.... It's so unpleasant to watch (#3). So good job, I guess, studio Okuruto Noboru - you made a truly repulsive spectacle.

Maybe other people enjoy this? I do not. 2/5

An interesting premise...

...that's entirely all too realistic.

I could really see some high school kids doing this.

It's interesting to watch, but I would hate to actually live this.
