WrestleMania weekend was really special and satisfying for me, and it made me want to see more small wrestling shows in the area (ideally in the city proper or otherwise VERY convenient... driving is a non-ideal option but an option nonetheless).

It's easy to know when WWE comes to town (especially when it's WrestleMania); Liacouras gets in touch with me when AEW comes to town; I'm supposedly on 2300's mailing list (though I swear I hardly ever hear anything from them about wrestling) and I have luckily not missed out on any NJPW or Stardom that's run there (despite 2300's lack of contact and my very inconsistent following of those two companies).

But beyond all of that, I keep having a really hard time getting a useful impression of what actually is local or runs locally often enough to get invested in it. There are some promotions I'm vaguely aware of but... I don't even know how I'd keep up with show announcements, to be honest. Reddit is the only social media I spend time on, and even if I followed these companies on something else I just feel like the algorithm is gonna algorithm and I could easily miss things.

So, local fans of local wrestling: what do you do to stay informed of upcoming shows? I'm relatively new to Philly (having moved here in 2019) and the collapse of Chikara has me feeling like there's not one "canonical" local promotion like there often has been (going back to ECW)... but I also feel like there IS a local scene that's passing me by!

Thanks!
