when it gets difficult to get gel out of the pump, i was tossing the bottle. but because of laziness, i left an old bottle for a day, and i noticed that it actually can generate enough pressure to pump more testosterone since i had left it alone for that long

so if you keep your low bottles of testosterone gel, you can get one pump out of them per day for longer than you might think they're empty, and extend the lifespan of your testosterone gel for a little while

*dependent on if your testosterone gel bottles work the same as mine

obligatory reminder that gel is just as good as injected :)

Thanks for this. I use gel but I use the ketchup looking packets right now. Hoping to switch to the pump. I'll keep this in mind.

yea i used to be on those, was never a fan of all the waste they produced. still, testosterone is testosterone. my protip for those is to open em with scissors lol, tearing them always made getting the gel out a pain in the ass. again, ymmv depending on what gel packets you get specifically

The main reason I've been on the gel packs is because I wanted to start out with a lower dose than normal and they don't have pumps for 25mg. It's a lot easier with the packet to measure out approximately half and take that.

I'm hoping to increase my dose to fifty at my Drs appointment tomorrow (very nervous about the increase but also not). I would much prefer to use a pump than the packets.

I agree with the scissors part. They're very annoying to open by hand.

Also, it's very nice to see somebody else on here. Welcome!
