The account I use now is totally defederated from lemmy.ml. I use it by choice.

I am upgrading myself from half to now 2/3rds likelihood ready to do that myself... I really really wanted to give them every chance but dude, wtf!?
The only thing holding me back at this point is that there are other good communities there, like https://lemmy.ml/c/dataisbeautiful (rare posts to that one though).
But I do think I'm close to unsubscribing at least to those memes - they just aren't "fun":-|.
