What do you think are the big changes coming to politics from AI & singularity?
Trusting AI as a political authority: I was reading how there are studies on ChatGPT saying it has a "liberal bias". Steven Colbert once said "Reality has a well-known liberal bias". These AI systems are loaded with papers, research and scientific data measured in reality so are they just reflecting reality?
How will this impact the conservative party who leverages emotions over measurements? As these AI systems grow, will more conservative research be conducted measuring policy results to try to make less biased? Or will LLMs be created with conservative only data and socialized with party members as the only non-liberal AI.
Transparency: I believe the singularity will bring more transparency from politicians as real time fact checking will happen. For instance i can envision live-fact checking in TV news shows where the audio from the politician would be piped into AI and highlights overlaid on screen. We would be able to see live overlaid data such as which corporations are funding their races. Take a Mike Turner from Ohio would be overlaid with Locheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, etc with how many $'s. Transparency will increase until we reach neural tech for communications.
Military: Will we become more peaceful? In he public sector, companies like OpenAI are asking for government regulation to help protect humanity from AI going off the rails. What about AI in the military and who is regulating that? AI assisted assassination has already started.
Social services: I can only think social services will increase over time as we lift and shift work to AI robots. Probably basic secured income. How do you see this changing?
