I'm a student thinking of selling my Air 5 as it's gonna lose its value next month (new release). I have a Pixel phone so no Galaxy ecosystem benefits there. I use it mainly for note taking in class, but also for watching videos, playing games etc. What are the weaknesses of the Tab 8/9? Which should I get? How do they fare against the iPad? How does the value depreciate? What is the app situation like? Most importantly, what about battery life?
