At my last apartment, following the standard first access instructions followed by the basic wizard, and a little tweaking was easy; now that I've moved, I'm struggling so hard to figure out why nothing on my network can access the Internet. I've reset the router so many times now, trying various things.

I have an Arris S33 modem, an EdgeRouter 12P, an EdgeSwitch 10x, and an AP LR6, all connected linearly; modem->router->switch->AP.

I have some LANs and they can all talk to each other just fine, no problems accessing the router or switch via any connection method, no problem connecting to the switch from a router connection...

My modem seems to be connected via docsis3.1 (Xfinity) just fine. I can access the Internet if I connect my PC directly to the 2.5Gb port on the S33 modem.

But nothing on my network seems able to access the Internet. I can't ping anything off-site, even from the EdgeRouter's CLI.

For the basic wizard, I set eth9 as my WAN interface, using DHCP. I can't find anything from Xfinity or otherwise saying it should be any different. My modem is wired to this port as it should be.

I'm curious, what would you guys investigate from this point? Can someone just point me in a direction?

I've gone through guides, but they mostly focus on the network side and, based on the local IPs and interconnectivity, this doesn't seem to be my issue; I'm having far less luck finding a good troubleshooting guide about my WAN connection.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Even if they're just 'check this link', or 'if packet capture of your WAN interface shows x, it means y'... I'll take half answers, anything I can get. Thank you so much
