We have switch-flex's we need to power at > 30W the upstream switch-lites's will provide.
- It appears both these models will be essentially equivalent w.r.t. functionality paired with switch-flex specifically - correct?
- The switch-flex box says the (proprietary "poe") POE-50-60W is preferred - but for the user, is there a benefit (power, longevity, visibility/maintainability in unifi)?
My thinking is it might be better to invest in the standards-compliant injector as it would be (re)usable down the line with more devices as things evolve? Any downsides?
Last, just to confirm - ubiquiti's proprietary poe injectors are still "safe" to plug into any old device, correct? I'm just double checking we don't have to worry about accidents frying anything in that regard.
