This is a pretty good summation since it showcases the friction at the core of the whole mindset. Old is essentially good, but also old didn't get to be good in practice because it got poisoned in the crib by impurity and weakness, therefore the ideal leader for these people is a strong and powerful emperor (daddy) who will not tolerate their weakness.
I'm not saying it's a gay thing, I'm not an expert in matters of gay and I'm opposed to the idea that it all boils down to sex, but it's no surprise how many gay fascists there are on the internet these days with how much fash nerds love to worship powerful men who dominate the weak.
