I'm kinda new at my current gig, and inherited a squirrel's nest of fibre cabling, patch panels, and FCAL and Ethernet switches from 3 different vendors across four different major firmware releases.

This makes things annoying.

I want to be able to test fibre runs, LC and MPO, before I start plugging things into them and wondering where the magic light went.

Any suggestions on gear?
