Nothing! I'm like 80% of the way though Oathbringer (book thee of the storm light archive), but I haven't listened to it in about two weeks.
I recently hiked Mt Major, and ended up listening to podcasts instead of my audio books.

Finished Shampoo Planet by Douglas Coupland. It was okay. If nothing else, it's worth it to read Coupland just to watch him turn phrases, but the story and characters were too similar to too many of his others.
Started John Dies at the End by David Wong. It's good so far - maybe a bit too self-consciously quirky, but certainly engaging.
I started on The Essential DBT Skills Workbook, this was on the backburner for too long. I read more fanfic too.
Is that book any good? Also, feel free to share what fanfic you read in the fanfic comm and maybe review them or something 👀 we need more posts there but I honestly have no idea what to post personally LOL
Yes so far it is, though I'm still going through the introductory content.
I'll see what I can do but I am very shy! For ideas, could there be a post where authors and/or readers share their fandoms, recs, current reads, WIP or so?
Yeah! Unsure where the best place for that kind of post to be though tbh
Finished House of Leaves (very weird, very interesting, would require like 4 more re-reads to actually understand it and I'm not sure I have the strenght for it), started my... 4th? 5th? Re-read of The Goblin Emperor bc someone here asked me for a few words on it and it put me in the mood to dive right in ^^
I have that book on my shelf and I think I very much need to be a good place mentally for it LMAO
Honestly I didn't find it all that disturbing/scary, but YMMV (I'm uncommonly resistant to most forms of horror so probably not the best person to ask if this book will mess you up). It mostly just required a lot of focus.
I’ve got about 6 hours left in The Winners, the last in the Beartown Trilogy. 😭😭😭 These towns just can’t get along, I love and hate every word! My heart can’t take it 💔
The series has a nice narrator, too!
Slowly making my way though “the judge and his executioner”, but I’m on holiday with my family and that means less reading time. Usually I mostly read on my commute to work. Up until now, I like the book, but I’m mostly proud of understanding most of it, since I’m reading it in original language!
Still working on The Reign of the Kingfisher by TJ Martinson. Classes started this week, so I’m also picking up “Enuma Elish” and Homer’s Iliad before teaching them.
Busy times :)
Reread of Tower of Dawn by SJM. i know a lot of people didn't like it but I just love it
I think someone mentioned Thistlefoot on last week's thread so I picked it up this week and it's sooooooo good. Holy shit I love it.
I did! I’m so glad you’re loving my favorite book 🤩
