Better than the usual.
- I got my rent for the month of April covered, thanks to mutual aid support.
- I had a really good job interview today that went even better than most "good" job interviews. The interviewer seemed to think favorably of me. Unlike most interviews I've gone to, it didn't end with him saying "I got a few other candidates to consider.", but instead, it ended with him saying "I think you'd be a great fit, but I have to let my manager know what we went over first before I offer you the position.".
- In case that doesn't work out, I'm getting queer-friendly job recommendations from the mutual aid community that helped me get out of the rent pit.
I'm not getting my hopes too high, but if I secure that position, I'd feel a lot more stable. It's full-time and pays even better than my last job. Not only that, but it just seems to have entirely better vibes. It's also definitely friendly to the gays™.
Fingers crossed. The only thing scaring me right now is uncertainty.
