I completely agree... I sort by New and this has caused me to unsubscribe from this community once already since the posts from this community just stay at the top, blocking actually new posts.
I just unsubscribe too, hopefully this can get fixed soon.
In the meantime, I'll post to [email protected]
Just hide them. Is it really too much effort to swipe or tap a few times?
People, I'm truly displeased that you feel you have to leave [email protected] and wish you would reconsider. I'd hoped your patience would have lasted until this timestamp bug was resolved since the problem has never stemmed from us.
My response to https://lemmy.film/post/344145 more or less still stands. I did contact @[email protected] shortly after in regards to the problem and have still not received a reply. I'd requested they use any of the other identities available until this timestamp bug gets resolved but nothing.
Let me also repeat, @[email protected] is a regular contributor to [email protected]. Their posts aren't spam or even off-topic.
@[email protected] has a total of seven identities...
I strongly invite @[email protected] and @[email protected] to respond. I also invite our readers here to contact the Lemmy project at github (link at page footer).
@kingmongoose7877 @Blaze @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] @arya Whoa I had no idea this was an issue, thanks for letting me know! I'll refrain from posting in the community until this issue is resolved, please let me know once it's fixed.
See, this is exactly what i "feared". Casey, I don't want you to stop posting here, as I suspect most of our subscribers and readers would agree. As I suggested in a DM to you weeks ago, if you'd merely post from any other of your accounts the problem would at least be temporarily resolved until kbin.projectsegfau.lt fixes their timestamp problem. Banning and/or defederating IMHO is overkill. Thank you, everybody involved.
**Now, ** if you all don't mind, I have other things to attend to.
Love, @[email protected]
@kingmongoose7877 I'll do a lil bit of testing from narwhal.city today, it runs #Lotide which I've found to be fairly stable for the most part. Please tell me if the issue pops back up when I post from there again
Thanks. Looks like your posts from narwhal.city work! 😅
@kingmongoose7877 Perfect! Thanks for letting me know.
This server went down for a few days, and it's back up now. Not sure if it's the admin working on this issue, but I just made a post:
Is the bug fixed?
Great to hear!
You're a cool dude, realcaseyrollins. Don't stop posting here just because a few users have a problem with chronology.
They always have an option on their end to hide posts that they don't want to see. Mods have said they are also working to solve it on their end. If that's not enough and folks are still bothered about it, maybe they should reevaluate how much time they're spending online if something this trivial is such a big deal to them.
@CeruleanRuin Thanks!
I tested making a post from @[email protected], and got confirmation that the issue is resolved, so I'm back to posting on the community now (although work will probably busy today so I won't be posting as much).
