Fair question. I don't think any criminal has ever been caught with this thing.

Growing up in Wisconsin, we called them "ducks" because they went on land and water.

That's a pretty good name. Here in Germany a different vehicle goes by "duck": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_2CV
