Not with that many chicken nuggets in one batch it ain't you gotta run multiple batches if you wanna make that many nuggets

don't tell me how to live my life 😑

I'm not going to tell you how to live, but I will tell you from experience that this methodology will result in an unevenly cooked nugget haystack.

I have done this exact same thing with tots with that exact result. It was a hilarious disaster.

It will eventually work if you jiggle em around the whole time but due to their mass vs the mass of oil they'll take forever to get back up to temp and in the meantime oil will completely soak into the nuggets. They will be so greasy. So. Greasy. So greasy.

Being up to temp and using a high oil to thing-to-fry ratio is the key to light crispy deep fried food.

Deep fried cauliflower rules

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Ever tried it with no breading? Just straight raw cauliflower deep fried in oil.

It's a classic in Lebanon. Usually comes with tahini sauce. The cauliflower browns perfectly but doesn't become greasy. It's delightful.

If you have a big enough pot and enough oil, you can do an entire head at once.

I have not, but that sounds awesome. What type of spicy sauce would that usually be paired with?

Shatta is very common if you want a kick. It's mostly chilis.

Breaded, fried, and then slathered in spicy sauce. Serve with sticky white rice.
