This seems like it would be pretty good honestly. It would probably taste better if you warmed up the bread sticks and grilled the hotdog first though, it all looks cold here

That's pretty much it. Just be civil, follow the rules of Lemmy, and discuss your love for hot dogs.
Absolutely agreed. Not sure I'd put yellow mustard on it either.
Personally I'd go with the spicy Chinese style mustard on this, or maybe a course English mustard
There's no Olive Gardens anywhere even near me but I might actually try this with a Little Caesars Crazy Bread...
My first time at Olive Garden, the breadsticks were incredible. Sharply garlicy, wonderful stuff. Every time I had it after, they were just bad bread, barely seasoned at all. Until a few weeks ago, someone gave me their leftover sticks after eating there. They were incredible, just the way I'd remembered so many years ago.
I don't eat there much at all so maybe it's just hit or miss but if you get a good batch of them, this hot dog would be awesome.
I've definitely gotten both. It was always super disappointing to get a bag of basically just plain bread lol
This has been my experience as well, very very hit or miss. It's been years since I last went because of how lackluster my previous experience was.
The worst part is how expensive the food got despite a majority of it being pasta. Can't imagine their bread sticks cost them a lot either
