Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

His points against Sowell were thorough and good, but he regularly snipes at central planning throughout the video. It's particularly annoying because he treats it as if it's some settled fact that central planning doesn't work despite not substantially touching on it at any point (granted, a detailed look into the topic is outside the scope of the video). At one point he makes the quip (paraphrased) "If you still think centrally planned economies work, you haven't been listening to this video."

Yeah I'm not a fan of how dismissive he is of central planning, although I'll withhold judgement until he does a full explanation of what he means and why. Central planning certainly ran into problems, but the Soviet economy was highly successful for a long time in many regards, and many of the problems it ran into at the end were directly caused by moves away from central planning under Gorbachev.

And he says there'll be a part 2! I guess it's a big topic and deserves a thorough treatment.

I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Had to pause about a third through because I was starting to wander away, planning to come back and watch when I'm more fresh but so far it was good.
