So, I wanted to start playing catch with friends, and being in Europe, I don't have many options (if any at all) for trying on gloves. Would two of these be worth the price for a sort of occasional hobby of playing catch on a weekly basis? Thanks!

Im no expert on baseball gloves, but I did sell them in a Sporting goods store for a few years. Yea you should be good, find a hand size chart if you don't know yours / if you can try it on, even better. Get some glove oil, and a big rubber band and you could pass those gloves down to your kids with the right care.
