I’m including games that go on sale frequently for $10 or less. Stardew valley, terraria, doom, untitled goose game, Valheim, little nightmares, inside, portal 1 & 2, vampire survivors, project Zomboid, Dave the diver, slime rancher, hollow knight, limbo, my friend Pedro, zero sievert

It's an MMO though and a huge drag in the beginning of the campaign. Takes a lot of hours to get to the good parts.
