I'm voting Jill Stein / Green in Michigan to poop on the Dems again. PSL is not on the ballot here. Have no issues with those who want to vote PSL where they can.

According to latest Michgan balllot access manual found on this page

https://www.michigan.gov/sos/elections/ballot-access

PDF

New political parties are required to gather petition signatures to gain ballot access in Michigan. The following political parties are currently qualified to appear on the ballot in the 2023-2024 election cycle:

Democratic Party, Republican Party, Libertarian Party, US Taxpayers Party, Green Party, Working Class Party, Natural Law Party

For a new political party to appear on the Nov. 5, 2024, General Election ballot, it must submit the minimal number of valid signatures within the required timeframes and on the required formats, as specified in Michigan Election Law, 1954 PA 116, MCL 168.1 et seq. Blah blah yadda yadda

  • 44,620 signatures

  • not older than 180 days prior to deadline of July 18, 2024

  • must have at least 100 confirmed sigs from half the voting districts.

In addition to a bunch of other formatting and canvassing hoops.

Yeah unfortunately it's a high bar in Michigan. We've set the states with the right balance of electoral value and achievable ballot access. There is a volunteer effort in Michigan, but I don't think it's aiming for proper ballot access. I'd recommend you check in with one of the MI branches on what they plan to do.
