Probably not the most secure thing in the world, I am not a knot master, but the rope is really thick and the speakers are very light. The placement they are in now really fills the room much better than before, they were lower on a short little table.

That looks cool and is a neat way to avoid vibrating your neighbours' ceiling or walls.

Looks neat.

If you're concerned about how secure it is, you could google 'easy diy plant hanger with rope', and wrap it in a safer knot. The simplest ones are a minute to make and require no real skills.

thanks ill look into it ! im using a tautline hitch on the speakers which I think is secure. my concern is at the top (you can't see) where I tied the speakers to some hooks on the ceiling. Im concerned the hooks will come out of the ceiling or my knot isn't very good. I didn't use google to find me a good knot for this part I just winged it because I was tired.

A bowline on the top will be fine and can look good.

Hooks should be in wood or your speakers will work the hook out.

Ziptie the rope on the back to the speaker, just incase it slips off

Looks cool but not stable at all. It’s going to fall out as they vibrate.

the tautline hitch is super tight actually, and the speakers are small, dont vibrate much. was blasting techno for like 3 hours and there was no movement.
