First pass at taxes done! I overshot withholding on federal by about 7.5k and undershot state by about 1.1k. I’m still struggling to accurately dial in estimated quarterly tax payments during bonus season.

Nice! I'm still waiting on a couple of forms from my spouse before they will be completed. Getting married has really messed up our numbers. The first year we owed somewhere around $5000. The last couple of years we got back that amount instead. I miss the days of filing single and getting within a couple hundred dollars of the right number.

I may or may not have had a $50k+ tax bill due a few years back… before I understood the IRS discretionary pay withholding guidelines and estimated quarterly payments…
