My fiend Mike in Arizona is collecting donations to buy Starbucks gift cards, these are wonderful ways to give somebody a chance to get in out of the summer heat into the air conditioning, enjoy a coffee and use the restroom and wifi. He will be purchasing as many $5(USD) gift cards as he can and handing them out to folks who could use it.
Please give if you can, the gift cards are definitely a "luxury" perk but as a survivor of homelessness himself Mike has stressed how nice it is to be an actual customer when it's hot outside and you just want to get in out of it and sit down.
