Wrong, it was removed because of the antisemitism. How dare they insinuate that using white phosphorus on civilian populations is a war crime

The most unrealistic part was that the protags were shocked and disgusted upon learning they had roasted a bunch of civilians
Tragic, that game was brilliant.
Vaccine Status?
damn that's one of my favs, playing it today its really dated but at the time when there was such a deluge of games with identical gameplay glorifying war, Spec ops the line being a bog standard cover shooter as far as gameplay goes lulls you into dropping your guard, making it hit that much harder when it gets you think about what you're actually doing.
kind of a shame Yager dropped off the face of the earth after that, the writing was pretty good and I wish I could have seen them do something else like spec ops. iirc making this game took a pretty big toll on the dev teams mental health and that's why they decided to not do it again.
It's not like they could have just done "Spec Ops: The Line 2: Return of Captain Walker"
I suppose, but they totally could've done better. its been 12 years and all they did was release two shitty online pvp games that flopped and died. They were working on dead island 2 but the publisher gave them the boot and transferred it to a different dev team
