I think they’re at least at Air Canada levels right now.
If it's denied, passengers can file a complaint with the Canadian Transportation Agency, a process can take up to two years due to a backlog of about 64,000.

Disappointing, hopefully just a one off as I have always had great experiences with WestJet. Time will tell.
West jet was bought out by onyx. In 2019. west jet employees have said things have gone down hill ALLOTT since then.
