@[email protected] When I lived in Iowa we had the same problem with people stealing the Mile 69 markers on I-380. But IowaDOT didn't replace them with Mile 68.99 markers.
And we haven't even touched on the U.S. 69 shields. A lot more states are going to have issues with people stealing I-69 shields once the extension of that interstate is complete.
@[email protected] There was a similar problem in Oregon with "This section of highway adopted by Ted Nugent and the American Bow Hunters' Association."
@[email protected] 🤔 It’s my birthday on 4.19 and I’ll be 99 this year….. (only kidding about being 99, 60 actually)

Watch out. That's probably those fan boys of that terrible German guy from the last century ...
@[email protected] I kind of hope the stoner subculture fades as weed is legalized in more places. There must be something else to be proud of.
@[email protected] I have the same date and also have never stolen a sign. Is this a sign? (sorry - cheap joke)
@[email protected] here in small Vermont, the Hwy mile marker 66.6 was stolen so many times, the DOT has given up on replacing it. Next time I go down the highway further south, I’ll have to check if there is a 42.0 mile marker - or not
@[email protected] my birthday also. Oddly, I've never felt the slightest inclination to steal a sign just because it has those three digits.

In Australia, the warning signs for kangaroos were stolen for a long time and sold worldwide. At some point, a sign manufacturer finally reacted and offered them himself.
@[email protected] I think that's funnier than 420, so I wonder why that hasn't been stolen yet too.

Stoners need to prove how dedicated they are. LOL. Just another day in Colorado...
@[email protected] Having driven that route a couple of years ago I wanted to stop and get a selfie with the sign to annoy some friends.....
Turns out the road now goes from marker 421 to 419 directly.

A village named Fucking in Austria (pronounced 'foocking') has recently changed its name for similar reasons...
