You can use App Manager (fdroid) toblock trackers. Pro:fine grain control.. Con:TC has essential unblock.

Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post

i use netGuard, it is very similar to t. control
settings > advanced options > socks proxy
through this proxy i can use netGuard with Orbot. It may be possible to direct it to a vpn that accepts socks connections
edit : yes, t.c. has the same option to use a socks proxy
